How the Public Pages Work

Every community gets four public pages

When a community is created, four special map nodes are created with it. Public posts attached to those nodes become your public pages:

• Center

  Meet the community and its mission — your front door for the world.

• Heart

  Introduce your creators and their intentions — the people behind the community.

• Creations

  Showcase creations, services and projects. Posts here can carry offerings that any visitor can purchase.

• Glitch

  Share tagmaps as glitch events. Each shared map gets a portal post visitors can step through — free for anyone, for subscribers only, or behind a one-time purchase.

Alongside these, every creator linked from a public post has a public profile page showing their public profile and posts — so a visitor who loves a creation can meet its maker.

What actually shows up publicly

A post appears on your public pages only when all of these are true:

• Its privacy is public and it is published.
• It is attached to one of your community's four special nodes (or shared as a public map).
• It carries no restrictive access tags. A post gated to role holders or key holders never shows to visitors — even if its privacy says public. Remove the access tags (or publish an ungated version) if you want the world to see it.

Age-protected posts still appear, but visitors must confirm their age before the content renders. On the Glitch event pages, signed-in members are additionally filtered through their own access — a member whose roles unlock a gated event may see it there while an anonymous visitor doesn't.

Getting your posts onto the public pages

Community leadership — the community's owning creators, anchors and elders — manage the public pages. If that's you, you'll see an ✏️ Edit this page pencil on your community's public pages while signed in. It opens the page's node in your personal map, where you attach or remove posts.

• Attach a public, published post to the node → it appears on that public page.
• Creations posts with offerings automatically show their purchase options to visitors.
• Glitch maps are shared from the map itself — pick free, subscriber-only, or one-time-purchase access when you share it, and a portal post is created for you.

Sharing your public pages

Every public page and post has a plain URL you can share anywhere — social posts, newsletters, a QR code on a flyer. Visitors can browse without an account: reading is always free and anonymous.

When a visitor wants to participate — purchase, join an event, respond — they'll be guided to sign in or register. When they register from your glitch event and map pages, they're enrolled under your community as a guest, so new members you attract land with you, not in a generic lobby. Guests can browse as members, make purchases, and later step into deeper roles.

Selling through your public pages

Attach an offering to a post on your Creations page and every visitor sees its purchase options. Buyers need an account (registering takes a minute and lands them in your community); payment happens right on the post.

• USD by card — checkout through Stripe. Your selling identity needs payments set up first (Stripe Connect) so funds can reach you.
• LVTRIE and community tokens — paid instantly from the buyer's wallet. If a buyer is short, they're offered a way to cover the difference in the moment instead of a dead end.
• Cash in person — optional per offering. The buyer gets a QR code; you scan it when the cash is in your hand, and the receipt settles.
• Subscriptions — monthly or yearly access, in USD or tokens. Map access on your Glitch pages can be sold the same way: one-time key or recurring subscription.

Every sale creates a real receipt, and purchases that grant access (keys, roles, map entry) grant it automatically the moment payment lands.

Browsing is open — participating means joining

Anyone can read your public pages, preview your glitch events, and see your offerings. Purchasing, responding, voting, and stepping through portals ask the visitor to sign in or register first. That's by design: every participant has an identity, a wallet and real receipts — which is what makes access grants, subscriptions and refunds trustworthy for both sides.
